THE NEW LAS VEGAS-A WORLD WITHIN A CITY

For the majority of the world, when you mention Las Vegas it conjures up images of bright lights, coins clanging and mobsters milling. Larry’s Las Vegas beleves you might be suprised to learn that as the times have changed, so has Las Vegas. From “Gambling Halls” to “Mega-Resorts”, from Gift Shops to Pricey Fashion Malls, one thing has become apparent. The Vegas Strip-Its not just for your parents anymore.

Larry’s Las Vegas welcomes you to “a World Within A City”.

Where else in the world can you leave the desert and within the hour be prepared to enjoy a fun filled day frolicking in the snow.
Larry’s Las Vegas suggests you stay at the aptly titled “the HOTEL ON MT. CHARLESTON”. Located at 2 Kyle Canyon Rd, (less than 40 miles from The Strip). The HOTEL, (according to the management),”offers a variety of accommodations from mini suites to presidential suites. The Cliffhanger Lounge is the spot to chill out with beer and food specials while, for fine dining, it’s the Cut Above Steakhouse, where you’ll enjoy creative presentations in a spacious round dining room supported by a mammoth pine log.”

For the more active of our readers, Larry’s Las Vegas recommends “The Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort”. From downtown Las Vegas, take Hwy 95 north approx. 30 miles to Hwy 156, Hwy 156 ends at the Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort. In addition to The Big Horn Café, the Resort also has everything you need to enjoy your day on the slopes! They say that “From ski poles to complete ski or snowboard outfits, you can rent everything you need to cruise in style.” Think this would be cool for you?

Only in the New Las Vegas can you go from city to city and country to country, from Hot to Cool and Cowboy to Heavy Metal. Anytime of any day, Las Vegas offers experiences heretofore available only in our dreams.

In the mood for the feeling of France? Well, Larry’s Las Vegas gets much deeper than that. You can get married in and marvel at the sights of “Madame Tussuad’s” Famous Wax Museum, located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip.

You can also visit PARIS, yes PARIS right on the Las Vegas Strip.
“PARIS” Las Vegas boosts some of the best Nightlife and Fine Dining found anywhere in the world.
“You can dance the night away while you enjoy Strip-side people watching at Risqué. You can sip a cocktail and relish the Parisian atmosphere at Gustav’s, right in the vibrant heart of the casino, or sip French wines and specialty drinks at Le Cabaret, our Parisian neighborhood bar. Napoleon’s, Le Central and Le Bar du Sport all offer your favorite cocktails, convenient locations and a spot in the middle of the action,” the Parisian Palace exclaimed.

You will marvel at an exact reproduction of one of Europe’s most famous landmarks, constructed at exactly 1/2 the size. The Eiffel Tower! You will enjoy the spectacular view from the ground and the top. Larry’s Las Vegas thinks you will truly be impressed!
“ Crafted inside the replica Parisian landmark, the Eiffel Tower Restaurant serves the most acclaimed French cuisine available in Las Vegas. The restaurant itself is a feast for the eyes. Sitting more than 100 feet above the Strip, the restaurant provides one of the most vibrant views in all of Nevada,” the resort states. Voulez-vous coucher avec moi (ce soir)?

How would you like to experience the ancient Egyptian City of Thebes? In the New Las Vegas, you can! Larry’s Las Vegas recommends a trip up the strip to “LUXOR”! Inside one of the largest pyramid building in the world, complete with a beam of light streaming from the tip of the Pyramid Hotel.
As the management explained “The Luxor Hotel and Casino offers you the opportunity to explore the treasures of the King Tut Museum, featuring authentic reproductions from what has been called the greatest archaeological find in the history of the world. Take a 15-minute self-guided audio tour to discover hundreds of reproductions, including the world-famous guardian statues, King Tut’s sarcophagus, and an array of statues, vases, beds, baskets and pottery.”

The Luxor Hotel goes on to explain, “The measurements of each of the King Tut Museum rooms are precisely recreated; the treasures therein reproduced by artisans using the same tools and original 3,300-year-old methods, including gold leaf and linens, and precious pigments. Each artifact is meticulously positioned accordingly.” Each of these venues and events can be accessed through Larry’s LAS VEGAS!
