We taught you how the number of decks used can affect your odds, so which game do you play? Based on availability, Blackjack payoff odds, liberal splitting and doubling rules, one game stands out.

Larry’s Las Vegas recommends our readers play “Double Deck” Blackjack only. Search and/or ask the Pit personnel for the game most favorable to you. “Double Deck”, “Dealer hits soft 17”, “Double after Split” allowed. This game, when played using “Basic Strategy” rules, leaves the “House” with only a 0.40% “HP”

While learning Basic Strategy, these are a few Rules of Thumb you should remember:
You never hit a hard 17 or higher.
Double Down on 11, except when the Dealer up card is an Ace.
Double on 10 except against a 10 or Ace.
Double on nine against a three through six.
Always stand on a soft 19.
Always split aces and eights
