Israeli shekels are pouring into the Las Vegas real estate market. Last week it was Israeli-owned Elad Group, with a $1.3 billion deal for Phil Ruffin’s 33-acre New Frontier site. Now an Israeli billionaire has put down $12 million for two penthouses in Donald Trump’s two towers. “That’s $54 million shekels,” said Trump business partner and Las Vegas dealmaker Jack Wishna, who made the deal.
Las Vegas locals’ Late-night hot spot Rainbow Bar & Grill Rainbow Bar & Grill, 4480 Paradise Rd 898-3525, has finally reopened. Chef Ernie Moore has added his mother’s Alabama barbecue pork rib recipe to the evening menu, meaty and topped with a tangy sauce. Owners Bob and Jerry Greenberg have added lunch Wednesday through Friday.
